Since I am not in LinkedIn (and I do not want to use any social network), I would prefer to stay here. It does provide the service I need.

Hi All,I've added a group on LinkedIn for the Dutch Scala Enthusiasts. You can now highlight on your LinkedIn profile that you're a Dutch Scala Hakker.Group: http://www.linkedin.com/groups/Dutch-Scala-Enthusiasts-3991737As an added idea, I would propose we move away from this terrible Ning thing and onto the LinkedIn platform :-), but that is of course entirely optional.Regards,JeroenSee More

The short term mission is to develop two highly scalable platforms based on Scala and the medium term goal is to become a center of excellence for new IT technologies for supporting the web initiatives of a group of investors. If interested please send me an email at: greco AT acm.orgBest regards,DavidSee More

Answers to questions I didn't have an answer for during Duse XV

1) We are not using Subcut because it tightly integrates Subcut with your injectables. Makes it inconvenient to switch DI mechanism.2) We did have a quick look at Rogue for MongoDB, but it works on…Continue

Welkom by DuSE

DuSE is the place where all Dutch Scala Enthusiast meet. We have been meeting on an almost four-weekly schedule, to hear about the adoption in our local society, do some Code Katas, learn about the new stuff that is coming about, learn how to take some hurdles, and in general celebrate the existence of Scala.

So far, we mostly met around Amsterdam and Utrecht, and as long as our sponsors continue to grant us the use of their offices, we will most likely continue to do so.

David Pollak, creator of Lift in Amsterdam

Hi all,

It seems like David Pollak of Lift-fame has some to time to spend with other Scala/Lift enthusiasts in Amsterdam after Devoxx. Might be nice to for DUSE members as well, or perhaps someone could facilitate this a bit in Amsterdam? Discussion here: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/liftweb/Af0g3-SSdVE/discussion
